Credentials

Dr. Rhonda is a certified yoga instructors (RYT 200), holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Claremont Graduate University, and certificate in Nalanda Buddhist Philosophy from Tibet House, New Delhi.

Dr. Rhonda regularly holds workshops on the skills of Mental and Emotional Self-Management (MESM), an evidence based practice to help us better manage our nervous systems. Research

Various scientific and wisdom traditions have provided a path to explore the connection between mind, environment, and relationships. Dr. Rhonda combines philosophy and science to create simple yet effective methods to generate well-being first within ourselves and then through our relationships with others.

Dr. Rhonda offers one-on-one mentoring for those who have completed basic MESM training and wish to explore ways to bring these tools into their personal and professional lives.

What is Mental and Emotional Self-Management?

A program that first teaches us how to lower our stress levels, through an understanding of our nervous system. Next we learn simple tools to balance our nervous system. Finally, we create opportunities to practice these tools in daily life. 

What kind of training do I need?

None! If you have a nervous system, then you are ready to learn and practice the MESM tools. 

How long does the MESM training take?

Our students have seen changes in levels of well-being within one week! Like any endeavor, the results will depend on your willingness to learn, and your diligence in practice.
